another big awakening for Cascadians coming this November
There are still those who still believe that some how the Democrats
will win seats in the coming election (2 weeks away in November)
push for some idea that there will be a mass turn out and somehow
impeach the fascist who is now in power. Its all crap. besides the
fact that most if not all these professional politicians (Democrats)
do not have the need or desire to impeach this usurper, the looks of
things is that any election even in Oregon will be a huge let down
and stolen again. This is a weird way is good for Cascadians for as
some of our syblings realize just how disenfranchised and powerless
we are from the power in this federation. As the debate after the
Nov 2 2006 election continues on in the weeks that follow WE,
AWAKENED CASCADIANS, have a golden oppertunity to wake up our
syblings from this fantasy .. from this sleep.. that is not
RealDemocracy. We should be making flyers, posters, banners,
stickers and makeshift Doug flags NOW! In the weeks to follow we
MUST get the word out about Cascadia! There is be debates on who won
and questions on count and recount for senators, congresspersons and
governors and even laws... this will make more and more people
realize that the whole system (even if your state is not
contaminated with election fraud) is not winable as we continue it
playing by "their rules". Right now (October 22 or when you read
this) is the time to be forwarding copies and printint out copies
of "From Dictatorship To Democracy" to give our sybling Cascadians
as they wake from their slumber. Leave a copy in the local
library.. wheat past it on a wall... We NEED to start advertising an
EVERGREEN REVOLUTION ..NOW!

during the election campaign of 2004 I was desperate enough for
money that I took a job for one day to work on a campaign to get out
the vote. I remeber how I kept telling people the election is fixed
with these machines and even if Oregon became blue its not going to
change that fact about the rest of the country. Needles to say I
worked there for one day. Anyway it was the emotions of the general
public that was interesting. There was all this fear of the
fascists (the other fascists party) barely winning and at the same
time all this hope that by shear numbers the Democrats (also
fascists in disguise) going "take back" the country. Think about
all those Greens and Kaccinich and other followers all marginalized
by the frenzy of Democrat and the fear that Bush might stay in
power. Remember the frustration of watching the Democrats first
start winning states and then start losing states as the big map
went from blank to blue and then quickly as Rove was in his hidden
bunk manipulating things to red. Remember the issues with long
lines of voters standing in the rain at night in Ohio and other
states and then being turned away. Think about the collective
emotional roller coaster of the country as Kerry backout. Think
about all those people that went from door to door either getting
people to sign up or being insulted for working for a pro democrat
group. To this day I remember as the country became red on the map
Janeane Garofalo on Air America buzzing off of redbull out of the
blue "Ok lets secede" and pointing out that red was the Bible Belt
and MidWest that that would be "Jesusland" and the rest of the
country would secede and join Canada. And when she said that I knew
people out of hopelessness and fear would start thinking on how to
get out. That is when we saw the idea of Cascadia is an autonomous
bioregion catch fire. For years before that the various Cascadians
forums would hover around 30 or 40 people. but when you have so
much collective emotion in such a thing as an election and when it
is outright stolen or taken away from you then real alternatives
become possible. The weeks after November 2 will have this effect
again and we must make sure we capture this. With tons of spams,
articles, posters and other memes to collect this dienfranchised
(disenbodied) energy.
